Crystal Bond Instant Glass Adhesive

Crystal Bond is a very special glass rapid curing adhesive that bonds glass to glass and glass to metal in seconds using natural sunlight to cure and form a permanent bond. Crystal Bond will cure optically clear giving an invisible joint.

Repair glass ornaments & crystal with no trace of cracks or glue left behind.

You will only see the two surfaces of the materials bonded together, any surplus adhesive can be easily cleaned off with regular glass cleaner and paper towels. Strong clear and easy to use, Crystal Bond has an exclusive formula that bonds in seconds and eliminates the need for costly and potentially harmful UV lights. Industries that rely on UV curing can wave goodbye to costs, fuss and the health and safety concerns.

Crystal Bond's revolutionary "safe light system" means that once the bonds are applied, they cure on demand using white and blue light at 470nm. There is no need for UV bulbs that damage eyes and skin.

Crystal Bond is ideal for bonding:

  • Glass to glass, metal, plastics or Ceramics
  • Fiber optics
  • Lens bonding
  • Jewelry
  • Furniture Construction
  • Glass Ornaments

2 E-6000® Self-Leveling Formula   !!! Industrial strength !!!

E-6000® Self-Leveling Formula

Glass and Rubber Cement, Hardwood, Wood, Metals, Tile, Aluminum,   Fabric Copper, Marble, Leather, Neoprene, Vinyl Most Plastics, Polycarbonate, Ceramic, Brick, Fiberglass,  Linoleum, Waterproof Cloth, ABS, PVC, Brass And Many More

An indispensable maintenance tool, E-6000 allows the kind of permanent repair and maintenance of equipment that may have been too expensive or difficult in the past.  Its strength in adhering metals, glass, rubber and plastics.

E-6000 is the jeweler's glue of choice, and our favorite. It is a one-part epoxy, (meaning you don't have to mix anything to make the glue -- it just comes out of a tube).

Perfect for attaching findings to base metal and costume jewelry pieces. E-6000 is safe for use with virtually every type of gemstone and works on wood, leather, vinyl, and canvas.

Non-corrosive and self-leveling, E-6000 adheres in 5 to 10 minutes, and hardens to a clear, waterproof cure in 24 hours.

This means you have about 10 minutes to position and reposition whatever you are gluing. If you are making jewelry, you should let the piece dry "hard" overnight, before you wear it. We advise against using superglue for most jewelry-making projects. Superglue discolors stones. Superglue dries like glass, so its seal shatters like glass when piece is dropped. E6000 dries like rubber, so its seal acts like a shock absorber when a piece is dropped.

Opti-tec 5001 is a two component, very low viscosity epoxy with very high optical clarity. It has a long pot life and can be cured at room temperature or at 65°C for 1 hour. Opti-tec 5001 is designed for potting, encapsulation and adhesion of components where high optical clarity, good wetting and low viscosity are important. Temperature range -60 to 200°C

Applications

  • Optical assembly, optical filters
  • Glass bonding
  • Plastic fibre optics
  • Opto-electronics, photonics
  • Potting or encapsulation where high optical clarity is required: thin rock sections, geology samples, relics and artifacts, tissue samples

Features

  • OPT 5001 is a clear, water white adhesive with a viscosity of 100 cps.
  • OPT 5001 has a one hour pot life after mixing and cures within 16-24 hours at room temperature. Cure can be achieved in 60 minutes at 65°C.
  • OPT 5001 has high surface energy. This and its low viscosity allows it to readily wet and wick between surfaces. It develops strong adhesion to most materials used in optics, including metals, ceramics, glass and most plastics.
  • OPT 5001 has good impact and thermal shock resistance, with low internal stresses due to low shrinkage on cure.
  • OPT 5001 is a hard, glass-like material after cure and can be polished.
  • OPT 5001 has good chemical and moisture resistance.
  • OPT 5001 has excellent resistance to yellowing.
  • OPT 5001 features low fluorescence.

Packaging

The twinpack is a clear film sachet, with the resin and hardener separated by a removable clip and rail divider. To mix the adhesive, remove the divider and mix the two parts together within the twinpack. The two parts are mixed until they appear uniform, which usually takes about 1 to 2 minutes. Cut off one corner of the twinpack, and dispense to required area, or to syringe for more precise application.

Standard twinpack size is 4g total weight. OPT 5001 twinpack sachets are packaged in quantities of 5, sealed into a protective aluminium foil pouch. After opening pouch, use adhesive twinpacks within a few days, or tightly reseal the pouch with the enclosed desiccant to preserve shelf-life.

EASE OF USE 2:1 MIX RATIO BY WEIGHT OR VOLUME, EXCELLENT ADHESION TO NUMEROUS SUBSTRATES.FDA COMPLIANT COATING FOR DIRECT AND INDIRECT FOOD CONTACT

MAX CLR can be machined, milled, drilled and tapped using hand tools or precision machines. Machining marks can be polished using traditional polished techniques

Just measure out two parts Part A to one part Part B, mix and apply and allow to cure overnight. It has a 45-minute working time and can be handled in 6 hours. Handling strength will develop in 10 hours of room temperature curing and will fully cure within 24 to 36 hours. Heat curing is also ideal for a faster cure time. The mixed consistency is similar to a very light syrup (800 cPs).

The use of an epoxy resin to apply a finish unto a counter top or a bar top is an inexpensive and simple process that can yield very functional and decorative results. Upon cure, the resin cures to a clear high gloss that creates and provides a protective barrier against stains and chemical attack that can ruin its aesthetic quality. Granite, marble and concrete and bare wood counter tops for example are porous substrates that stains very easily and removal of the stain is virtually impossible

MAX CLR A/B epoxy systems are a line of two-component epoxy resin that is specially engineered to provide a crystal clear decorative coating, demonstrating excellent colour stability, toughness andease of use. Upon cure it yields a very high gloss finish that is resistant to most household cleaning chemicals such as soaps, ammonia and petroleum solvents. This application will create a barrier that will prevent permanent stains from absorbing through the porous substrates and clean-up's canbe as simple as wiping it with a clean rag.

Excellent Chemical and Solvent Resistance.Low Shrinkage, Wide range of service temperature

Usage And Applications Instructions

When choosing laminating resins, it is important that the formulation is 100% reactive, meaning that it contains very little no plasticizers and solvents that other formulators use to lower the viscosity of the resin system. Plasticizers and solvents are also used as liquid fillers to reduce the cost but sacrificing overall cured performance.

Our MAX CLR is formulated with 100% reactive, high purity grade epoxy resin and a specially formulated curing agent, giving it the best performance compared to our competitors. We have sold thousands of pounds of our MAX CLR formulations to many composite manufacturers.

MAX CLR is a versatile, tough and resilient epoxy resin that can be used for many other applications such as:
